Boundary Surveys are to find or set deed lines for tracts of land. Legal Descriptions are prepared for new tracts of land. A Plat is prepared for each survey showing boundary lines, corners set or found dimensions and Legal Descriptions of tract surveyed. Boundary Surveys are divided into three general types:
Lot Surveys: Finds or resets corners and lines for existing platted lots or tracts of land.
Farm Surveys: Find or resets corners and line for larger rural tract of land, includes acreage of tract surveyed.
As-Built Surveys: Surveys that include locations of improvements.
Boundary Surveys can also include topographical surveys.
