Preservation of (Nation Register eligible) 1903 County Courthouse building included the following actions:

- Design and incorporation of state of the art mechanical, ventilating and electrical systems into existing historic building

- Improvement of safety through addition of fire alarms and provision for future sprinkler and smoke exhaust systems

- Satisfaction of ADA requirements including restrooms, entrance ramp and railings designed to emulate existing structure

- Analysis and reorganization of existing space usage and needs to better utilize and attribute storage areas among various departments

- Restoration/reconstruction of original roof forms and dome as a solution to standing water problems
